Crime scene established after suspicious blaze guts Logan home

INVESTIGATIONS are underway after a suspicious fire destroyed a home in Logan overnight.

The blaze erupted at a property on George Street in Beenleigh around 5.45pm.

Several emergency crews rushed to the scene and upon arrival, they found the house well alight.


Thankfully the property was unoccupied and no one was injured, however the house received significant structural damage.

A crime scene has been declared with investigators due to return to the site later this morning.

Anyone with dash cam vision from George Street or the surrounding area yesterday evening is being urged to contact police.
