Man charged with murder after woman found dead in Logan
UPDATE @ September 26:Â A MAN has been charged with murder after a young mother was found dead at her home in Crestmead yesterday.
Paramedics were called to a house on Waratah Drive around 6.30am on Wednesday after the woman’s six-year-old daughter reportedly phoned emergency services.
Upon arrival, they found a 24-year-old woman deceased with significant facial injuries.
Police then rushed to the property, where they established a crime scene.
Following investigations into the woman’s suspicious death, detectives arrested and charged a 24-year-old man from Acacia Ridge with one count of murder.
He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.

EARLIER @ September 25: A WOMAN has been found dead at a home in Crestmead this morning, with police treating the death as suspicious.
Paramedics made the grim discovery after being called to a house on Waratah Drive around 6.30am, after receiving reports of an injured woman.
“Upon arrival, paramedics located a woman deceased with significant facial injuries and notified police around 7.00am,” police said in a statement.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC one man is currently assisting officers with inquiries.
A crime scene has also been established at the property.
Investigations are ongoing.
