Crime scene established after man shot near Sydney primary school
A crime scene has been established after a man was shot in Sydney’s west today.
Police said that around 9.20am, emergency services were called to Pandora Street in Greenacre, following reports of a shooting.
AÂ man, believed to be aged in his early 30s, was found with a gunshot wound to his knee.
He was treated at the scene by Paramedics before being taken to hospital.
According to Nine News reporter Sophie Walsh, the shooting took place near a primary school.

The school was forced into lockdown following the shooting, however it has now been lifted and all students have been confirmed safe.

A crime scene has been established and is expected to be examined by specialist officers.
Police have been told people were seen leaving the area after the incident.
