Police have launched an investigation after a woman was found dead inside a home at Bentley Park in Cairns.
Around 3.40pm on Wednesday, officers were called to a unit on Herald Street.
Upon arrival, police located the body of a woman inside.
A crime scene was established at the home and investigations are continuing to establish the cause of death.
Police said there are no further details at this time.
