Crime Stoppers launch campaign to track down wanted Australian fugitives

Crime Stoppers are hoping a new campaign will help track down 19 of Australia’s most wanted fugitives.

The men, who are from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia are wanted over a range of serious crimes including murder, child abuse, rape, drug trafficking and assault.

The campaign, dubbed ‘Operation ROAM – Fugitive Hunt’ is a joint national operation between Crime Stoppers, the police and the Australian community.

“These fugitives are hiding in our communities, interstate and next door, perhaps known to family members and colleagues,” Crime Stoppers Bryan Roach said.

Operation  Roam – Fugitive Hunt will run for two weeks from today (15-26 August 2016.)
