Critical care paramedics called to Surfers Paradise smash

Three people have been hospitalised after a nasty car crash in Surfers Paradise overnight.

Paramedics – including critical care – were called to the Remembrance Drive just after 4.30 am following reports of the incident.

It’s understood two cars collided, with three people needing to be assessed at the scene.


A woman in her 20s was assessed for neck pain and taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

While a man and woman in their 20s were also checked over, but paramedics report that they appeared uninjured.

The pair were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for observation.
