Critical Care paramedics rush to serious Gold Coast crash

UPDATE @ 4.30 PM | TWO people have been injured, one critically, following a horror head-on crash at Currumbin this afternoon.

The accident happened on Currumbin Creek Road around 3.30pm.

One person, whose age and gender is not known, was treated at the scene for life threatening injuries.

They have since been taken to Tweed Hospital in a critical condition.

A second motorist was treated by paramedics for minor injuries and has been transported to Tweed Hospital in a stable condition.

EARLIER @ 4.00 PM | TWO people have been injured in a crash on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

Several emergency crews rushed to Currumbin Creek Road at Currumbin Waters around 3.30pm on Tuesday following reports two cars had collided.

Critical Care Paramedics are currently treating two people on scene, however it’s not yet known what injuries they have sustained.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area with traffic quickly banking up.
