Three elderly people have been hospitalised, after two cars collided on the Gold Coast this morning.
Emergency services were called to Oxley Drive and Hansford Road in Coombabah just after 11.00 am, following reports of the crash.
Critical care paramedics and the High Acuity Response Unit were also called in.

A woman in her 80s is in a serious condition after suffering a chest and neck injury, while a man in his 80s is stable with a pelvic injury.
A third elderly person was assessed at the scene and later transported in a stable condition with spinal precautions.
All three were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital. The High Acuity Response Unit was on board for the woman in her 80s.
Motorists experienced lengthy delays along Oxley Drive around lunchtime, with both lanes blocked off while emergency services responded.
