A Current Affair journo faces court for child porn charges

Channel Nine journalist Ben McCormack has been greeted by a media scrum, including some of his ex-colleagues, as he arrived at a Sydney court.

It was the first time the A Current Affair (ACA) reporter had faced court since being charged with child pornography offences in April.

The case has been adjourned until September 5, with strict conditional continued in Downing Centre Local Court today.

The 42-year-old was suspended by ACA shortly after his arrest.

He has also been treated for mental health related issues.
