Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has been honoured at the 2019 Queensland Tourism Awards.
The iconic Gold Coast Wildlife Sanctuary won Bronze Awards in both the Major Tourist Attraction category and The Cultural Tourism Award category.
General Manager of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Michael Kelly, said the awards further cements Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary as one of the leading tourist attractions on the Gold Coast.

“For an organisation like Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, which has been operating for 72 years, we are very pleased to be operating alongside some of the biggest tourist operators in Queensland,” he said.
“We are incredibly proud to be listed as one of the best attractions in Queensland. It is a great accolade for our hardworking team.”
Other Gold Coast award winners include Groundwater Country Music Festival which won Gold in the Festivals and Events category, and Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre which was named the Best Business Event venue.
