Customers fuming after NAB experiences major service outage
National Australia Bank has experienced a major nationwide service outage today, with customers left stranded at petrol stations and grocery stores.
Since 11.00am, NAB customers have been unable to make eftpos transactions of withdraw money from ATM’s due to the outage.
A spokesperson for the company took to social media to confirm they were investigating the problem.
“Sorry everyone, we’re experiencing problems with some of our systems – we’re working to fix it ASAP & we’ll keep you posted.”
One customer wrote on Twitter that he had been left stranded at a petrol station because his card did not work.

NAB has advised that services are starting to come back online and should be fully restored shortly.

In the meantime, customers in desperate need of money have been urged to visit a local NAB branch.
