Cyclist collected during hit and run in Mermaid
A WOMANÂ has been injured in a hit-and-run accident in Mermaid Beach.
The woman was riding a bike when she was collected by a car at the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and Markeri Street at around 8:00am.
The Queensland Ambulance Service took the woman to hospital, suffering a broken wrist.
Police want to speak to the driver but are yet to provide a description of the vehicle involved.
