A man has been stripped of his license after he was allegedly caught drink driving with his toddler son in the car in Melbourne’s east.
Police said the 30-year-old man fled the scene of a collision he was involved in on Halley Street in Blackburn at around 6.50pm on Friday night.
After chasing up his details, officers attended the driver’s address and intercepted him as he drove into his driveway.

Police said the man’s two-year-old son was in the car with him.
The 30-year-old was conveyed to the Forrest Hill Police Station where he was subjected to a breath test.
He allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.123 per cent.
The man’s licence was suspended.
Police say he is expected to be charged with drink driving, failing to exchange name and address and failing to stop after an accident.
