A former dance teacher has been sentenced to five years behind bars for sexually assaulting his students.
The 40-year-old Hobart man is reported to have had sexual intercourse with one girl aged under 17 between 2000 and 2003 and performed sex acts with another between 2012 and 2013.
He pleaded guilty to child sex offences relating to the two students in October and was today sentenced to five years jail.

He will be eligible for parole after two-and-a-half years and will be added to the register of sex offenders.
