Dangerous baby cot recalled over ‘entrapment’ fears
A potentially dangerous baby cot is being recalled over fears it may seriously injure infants.
The White New Zealand Pine 3-in-1 Baby Sleigh Cot Bed with Drawers has been pulled from sale because it “does not comply with the Australian mandatory safety standard.”
A recall notice posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website says the cot “fails various design, construction, performance and labeling requirements”.
“The cots pose numerous potential risks to infants and children including entrapment, choking and fall hazards,” the notice reads.
