A FATHER, whose dangerous driving caused the death of his daughter, will serve time behind bars.
Ricky Stephens has today been sentenced to a minimum term of two years and three months after pleading guilty to two driving charges in a Victorian court.
He was behind the wheel of an off-road buggy when it rolled in a paddock in September 2013.

His daughter Sophie Rose, 9, was thrown from the vehicle and died.
Victorian County Court judge Richard Maidment said Mr Stephens would bear the burden of his actions for the rest of his life, but it was “not a case of bad luck”.
