Brisbane and Logan have woken to a thick layer of fog blanketing the city, which is also causing chaos on the roads.
The fog set in overnight and is causing extremely low visibility for people in the area, especially motorists travelling into the CBD.
A dangerous driving weather alert has now been issued, with the weather bureau urging drivers to take it slow and easy.

“Fog will reduce visibility and make driving conditions dangerous this morning,” The Bureau of Meteorology wrote.
Queensland Police have confirmed there’s already been a number of accidents due to the conditions.
“We’re already seeing a few traffic incidents and impacts as a result, please drive to conditions,” police said.
According to the weather bureau, the shroud is expected to stick around for at least the next few hours before clearing off late morning.
