Daniel Craig turns down $137 million offer to play James Bond again

Even a $137 million offer can’t tempt Daniel Craig to play James Bond again.

The British actor has turned down an incredible cash offer from studio MGM to play the secret service agent in in two more movies.

The Telegraph reports the 48-year-old told bosses it “just wasn’t what he wanted” despite them throwing “huge amounts of money at him”, a source said.

Last year Craig said he would rather “slash my wrists” than do another Bond film.

Craig has played Bond since 2005, starring in the blockbuster films Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre(2015).
