Deadly hinterland road closed off after another nasty crash
Police have closed off a dangerous Gold Coast/hinterland road, after a nasty crash saw a motorist hospitalised this morning.
The vehicle rolled over in an incident along Nerang Murwillumbah Road around 10.40am.
Emergency services were called out a short time later, where they assessed a man in his 20s at the scene.
He was then taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment for back and rib injuries.
Police are still on scene, while motorists are being warned to avoid the area.

No other injuries have been reported.
Nerang Murwillumbah Road is well known for accidents, following multiple deaths over the last year.
Most recently, four people in their 20s were killed in a crash there in July.
