Depp holding on to the dog smuggling drama

Actor Johnny Depp seems unable to let go of the dog smuggling drama involving his wife Amber Heard.

He’s used a US Talk Show to mock Australia’s laws, after his partner Amber was let off with a slap on the wrist in Southport Court.

She was put on a short Good Behaviour Bond for smuggling Yorkshire Terriers Pistol and Boo into Australia while Depp was filming Pirates of the Caribbean on the Gold Coast in 2015.

The pair were criticised for their performances in an ‘apology video’ which was broadcast in the courtroom and then made public.  Many commented that they looked like they were being held hostage.

On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Depp took a dig at the Deputy Prime Minister.

He adopted a sarcastic tone to describe his dogs as “minuscule, tiny teacup things, clearly dangerous in Australia”.

The Hollywood heart throb said “it seems like one guy in Australia made a big deal out of this”.

Kimmel helped him out with the details saying “Barnaby Joyce is his name”.

To which Depp replied “Barnaby Jones, he looks somehow inbred with a tomato”.

“Its not a criticism. I was a little worried. He just might explode,” he said.

Yep as an Australian, I can tell you, Barnaby Joyce is an idiot. Don’t let the actions of one (possibly inbred) idiot, destroy what our country is all about. We love you and want you to enjoy all our country has to offer. Of course the dogs aren’t allowed to come , but obviously this was handled extremely poorly , and for that I apologize. Come back anytime and give that Barnaby Joyce some stick!

Disgraceful. No wonder America is the most hated country in the world. Such arrogance for our laws and our people. Have a laugh on us you selfish all about me people. And you can keep johnny Depp and his pets. Will never watch any of that idiots movies again.

Like them or not we have laws and they are meant to be obeyed. Barnaby Joyce just found a way to get his mug on the front page and ran with it. Most Aussies are embarrassed by him as well.
