UPDATE: Police have located a 5-year-old boy, who was reported missing in bushland at Wallu earlier today.
The boy was located safe and well in bushland at about 6.20pm.
EARLIER: Police are currently searching for a five-year-old boy after he wandered into bushland at Wallu, south of Hervey Bay.

The boy was last seen at around 10.30am, and is believed to have followed two dogs into the bush, near his home on Rainbow Beach Road.
The boy is described as being tanned, with dark brown curly hair. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt and black or blue shorts.
One of the dogs is a ridgeback and the other is a puppy.
Police have set up a forward command post on Rainbow Beach Road. Officers on trail bikes are currently searching the area, along with dog squad and several officers on foot from nearby stations.
Anyone who may have seen the boy is urged to contact police.
