Detectives are investigating the cause of a fire which destroyed a house at Bidwill, in Sydney’s west on Saturday night.
Firefighters were called to the house ablaze in Lindley Square just after 10.30pm.
Police said crews arrived to find the house “well-alight”.

The house was totally destroyed.
The building is owned by Housing NSW and it was vacant at the time, police said.
An investigation is underway involving specialist fire investigators and officers from NSWPF’s Forensic Services Group, to determine the cause of the fire.
Until the cause is confirmed, the fire is being treated as suspicious.
