Australians will be able to fly direct to Europe in just over a year, after Qantas announced it will start a non-stop flight from Perth to London
With services starting in March 2018, the airline’s new 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft will take on the 14,500 kilometre service.
The airline made the announcement yesterday, for the first regular passenger service to directly link Australia with Europe.

Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce has described the announcement as seismic.
