Disneyland Paris train station evacuated after suspicious package found
The main train station for Disneyland Paris has been evacuated after a ‘suspicious package’ was reportedly found.
Scores of police and soldiers armed with assault rifles flooded the Marne-de-la-Vallée train station around 8pm local time.
Hundreds of people including families with young children were caught up in the chaos.
A police spokesman said: “Marne la Vallée station is being shut down as a precaution. Searches are underway following a warning about a suspicious package.”
The security threat comes after warnings from ISIS that the popular attraction was a prime target.
