Doctor accused of asking mum and 11-year-old daughter for sex

AN alleged child sex predator has been arrested and charged following undercover police operation in NSW.

Child abuse detectives posed as a 32-year-old woman and began engaging with the man online last month.

The man, a 49-year-old specialist doctor from Coffs Harbour, allegedly asked the woman if he could have sex with both her and her 11-year-old daughter together before sending her sexually explicit images of children.

“Police will allege in court that the man engaged in conversations about sexually explicit acts he wished to perform on the child, as well as with the mother and daughter together,” NSW Police said in a statement.

“It will also be alleged that the man sent child abuse material before making arrangements to meet with both the woman and girl for sex.”

Strike Force detectives arrested the 49-year-old man outside a hotel in Parramatta on Wednesday night.

Police searched the man’s hotel room and seized a laptop, mobile phones, hard drives and children’s toys.

The man has since been charged with inciting a person as an accessory before the face to attempted aggravated sexual intercourse of a person between 10 and 14 years of age, and using a carriage service for child pornography.

He was remanded in custody overnight and due to front Parramatta Local Court today.
