Donald Trump is reportedly on track to secure the Republican nomination for US president.
Media reports suggest the billionaire has reached the number of delegates needed.
But the Republicans’ House Speaker, Paul Ryan, has continued to refuse to officially endorse Trump.

The only thing he would tell media was that he had spoken to Trump, saying “we had a very productive phone call, I’ll leave it at that”.
Mr Trump was put over the top in the delegate count by several news organisations on Thursday by a small number of the party’s unbound delegates who confirmed they would support him at the national convention in July.
In California on Thursday (AEST) there were violent scenes outside the Anaheim Convention Centre where Trump was speaking.
Protestors unhappy with his comments about Hispanic immigrants tore apart a piñata which bore an uncanny resemblance to Trump. They placed its head on a flag pole with a Mexican flag.
Others waved flags which read “Stop Nazi Trump”.
