Several people have been arrested after a Black Lives Matter protest turned destructive in Brisbane this morning.

She had been arrested for property and drug matters on Sunday and was being held in the watchhouse pending a transfer to a correctional facility.
As a result, protesters turned out in droves this morning, with videos posted to social media showing them blocking police cars as they tried to drive through the area.
It’s understood the protest escalated when some people involved began vandalising the Brisbane Police Watchhouse and vehicles with red paint, forcing police to take a number of people into custody.
