It’s all to raise money for the theme park’s Wildlife Foundation (DWF), which supports tiger conservation.
Dreamworld’s Tiger Island has been a global leader in the field since the DWF was established in 2012.
DWF is the largest zoo-based donor and supporter of wild tiger conservation globally having provided more than $2.5 million directly to carefully selected projects in partnership with WildCats Conservation Alliance.
Together they work to protect habitats, provide essential species monitoring and anti-poaching initiatives across Sumatra, Russia, China, India, Nepal and Thailand to provide tigers with a better future.
Tiger cub Javi, Zakari and Khan will be joining the conservation movement and the weekend celebrations as well.
While there’s plenty of fun to be had, families will also be able to learn more about tiger’s habitats, behaviours, the challenges they face and how we can help.
