Dreamworld prepares to reopen doors

Staff at Dreamworld are preparing to reopen the theme park on Saturday, a month and a half after the fatal tragedy that claimed the lives of four people.

Sister park WhiteWater World will also open its doors, on what will be the first day of Queensland’s summer break.

Several large rides at the theme park will remain closed as safety reviews are still underway.

Dreamworld will be donating $25 from every ticket sale over the weekend to the Australian Red Cross.

Kate Goodchild, Luke Dorsett, Roozi Araghi and Cindy Low lost their lives when the popular Thunder River Rapids ride malfunctioned on October 25.
