Alleged drink driving bikie behind bars

UPDATE: A HEAVILY-tattooed Rebels bikie accused of threatening an injured woman after he drunkenly smashed into the back of her car at a set of traffic lights will spend at least a week behind bars.

It’s alleged Wilfred Fink, 40, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.16 – more than three times over the legal limit – when he rear-ended the woman’s car at a red light on the Gold coast Highway at Main Beach around 11.15pm on Sunday.

The Bulletin reports the alleged member of the Rebels criminal motorcycle gang must wait a week to apply for bail after briefly appearing in court this morning.


The 26-year-old female driver was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with suspected internal and spinal injuries.

EARLIER: A Rebels bikie will face Southport Court on Monday, after allegedly threatening an injured woman at the scene of a crash in Main Beach.

Police said he was drink driving when his ute rear-ended a car on the Gold Coast Highway, just after 11.00 pm on Sunday night.

It will be alleged he then threatened the female driver, telling her not to call police.
