Drive-by shooting in Sydney under investigation

A drive-by shooting is under investigation in Sydney.

Police say several shots were fired into a house on Madeline Street, Fairfield West before a car was heard speeding off just after 9:00pm on Thursday.

No one was injured during the incident and no one was home at the time.


Officers attached to Fairfield Local Area Command attended the location and established a crime scene.

Detectives from Fairfield Local Area Command continue with their inquiries into the incident.
