A man has been arrested and charged over a fatal crash in Central West NSW last week.
The accident happened along Blackbutts Way at Coolah, around 85 kilometres south of Coonabarabran, at around 5.40pm on Thursday 9 June.
Police said a 52-year-old man was attempting to change a tyre on his red Holden station wagon which he had pulled over to the side of the road when he was struck by a maroon Ford Falcon sedan.

He later died in hospital.
It’s alleged the driver of the Ford failed to stop after the crash and drove home before contacting police.
Officers from the Northern Tablelands Crash Investigation Unit attended the home and arrested the 51-year-old man.
He was taken to Coolah Hospital for mandatory blood and urine analysis.
Yesterday, he attended Singleton Police Station where he was officially charged with fail to stop and assist after a vehicle impact causing death and alter concentration of blood before sample.
He was granted bail to appear at Mudgee Local Court on 7 September.
