A woman has been charged after a bus hit an 81-year-old man in Bankstown earlier this month.
The shocking collision happened on Monday 17 July, when an 81-year-old man was crossing the road at the intersection of the mall and Jacobs Street in Bankstown.
The man suffered significant injuries and lost one of his legs as a result of the crash.

Following investigations, the 51-year-old woman who had been driving the bus was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Her licence was also suspended.
She is due to appear before Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday 9 August.
