Driver killed after Commodore collides with tree in NSW

A 28-YEAR-OLD man has sadly died following a shocking crash in Sydney’s west.

The accident happened on Stony Creek Road at Mt Druitt at around 2.30am on Saturday.

Police said for reasons unknown, the man’s Holden Commodore veered off the road and slammed into a tree.

The 28-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the scene, police said.

A crime scene was established and examined this morning by officers from the Forensic Crash Unit.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
