Driver killed in highway rollover

A MAN has tragically died after rolling his car on a highway in Far North Queensland.

It happened on the Kennedy Highway at Koah, 40km out of Cairns, on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said for reasons unknown, a vehicle left the highway and rolled about 5.20pm.

Sadly, the driver – a 32-year-old man from Koah – could not be saved and died at the scene.

Police said the man was only person travelling in the car at the time.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
