Driver killed, two seriously hurt in Pacific Highway crash

A MAN has been killed after his ute collided head-on with another ute on the Pacific Highway in northern NSW.

The vehicles came to grief around 30km north of Grafton just before eight o’clock on Saturday morning.

Police said a Holden Colorado ute collided with a Ford ute travelling in the opposite direction.

The male driver and sole occupant of the Ford died at the scene before they could be transported to hospital.

The male driver and female passenger of the Holden were seriously injured in the collision.

The pair, aged in their 20s, were treated by paramedics at the scene before taken to Lismore Base Hospital.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are continuing.
