Driver seriously injured in horror wet weather crash on GC
Two people have been rushed to hospital, one in a serious condition, after a horror two-car smash on the Gold Coast this morning.
Emergency services raced to Edmund Rice Drive at Southport around 9.50am after receiving reports two cars had collided.
Two people, whose age and gender are currently unknown, were treated at the scene before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Motorists have been urged to avoid the area.
