Driver thrown from car, passengers cut free after horror Tallai crash

Four people have been injured after the car they were travelling in slammed into a guard rail and flipped in Tallai on Sunday night.

It’s believed the driver lost control on Worongary Road at around 8pm before crashing into a guard rail, causing the car to flip on its roof.

The male driver was thrown from the vehicle.

Emergency Services had to work hard to free the passengers trapped inside.

All occupants were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are continuing as to the cause of the crash.

Police are urging motorists to drive carefully on the roads as the school holidays come to an end and drive to the conditions.
