The drivers of both vehicles died at the scene after their vehicles exploded into flames which spread through nearby bushland.

Two males that were travelling in a third utility that collided with one of the other vehicles have been taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the utility will undergo blood and urine tests.
