Drugs found in coffee table at Gold Coast home

Two people have been charged after police found drugs in a coffee table during a raid of a home in Robina.

Rapid Action Patrol officers executed a search warrant at the residence on Parnell Boulevard around 7.00pm last night.

Police will allege they found a quantity of methamphetamines, located inside a coffee table which used a hydraulic motor to open.

It will also be alleged that police found a clear liquid suspected of being used to produce a dangerous drug, as well as $4250 of cash.

A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman from Robina were each charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing property suspected of being used in connection to dangerous drugs.

They’ll both face court next month.
