Drugs, guns and stolen motorbike seized in Burleigh raid

POLICE have stormed a Burleigh Heads home, seizing dangerous drugs, two rifles and a stolen motorbike.

Media reports state that officers from the Gold Coast’s Rapid Action Policing (RAP) unit raided the Newcastle Street address on Thursday morning where they initially detained eight persons.

In the end, three people were arrested, including a man wanted on return to prison warrants.

The trio have reportedly been charged with possession of dangerous drugs, stolen goods and firearm offences.
