Police officers in Sydney’s west haven’t had to go far to nab a drunk driver.
Their patrol car, which was stopped at a red light at Padstow Heights, was nudged by a vehicle at traffic lights overnight.
The woman driver has been charged with blowing three times over the legal limit and is due to appear in court next month.

Police will allege about 9.30pm on Monday the caged van was stopped at the intersection of Alfords Point Road and Clancy Street when a Toyota Corolla crashed into the rear of it.
The two officers from Sutherland Local Area Command got out of their vehicle and approached the 40-year-old female driver who was still sitting in her car.
After speaking with the woman she was subjected to a roadside breath test, arrested and taken to Sutherland Police Station where she allegedly provided a breath analysis reading of 0.152.
She was issued a Court Attendance Notice for high range PCA, and will in Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 8 September, 2016.
Her licence has been suspended.
There was no visible damage to the police vehicle.
