The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced they are expecting their third child.
A statement released by Kensington Palace on Monday (UK time) said the Queen and members of both William and Kate’s families were “delighted with the news”.
The statement also revealed that Kate is once again suffering with acute morning sickness, which forced her to cancel a planned public engagement she had in London.

“As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace,” the statement read.
The couple are already parents to Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.
Their third child will become fifth in line to the British throne, meaning Prince Harry will be knocked down to sixth place.
