A POLICE officer has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service after he was allegedly found to be high on drugs whilst on duty.
The 48-year-old male Senior Constable from the South Eastern Region was subjected to drug test while he was on duty and allegedly returned a positive result.
He has since been suspended from duty, pending the result of an investigation.

In a statement to media, the Queensland Police Service said “This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.”
“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.”
