Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson invited to cheer on the Wallabies in Brisbane

IT’S the game too tough for professional wrestler The Rock to play — but he loves to watch it.

The Bulletin reports, Australian Rugby union officials yesterday invited the Hollywood star to see Wallabies captain Stephen Moore lead his charges on to the field in Brisbane on Saturday for the first of three Test matches against France.

They’re hoping he might even don one of their special edition gold Wallabies’ berets to cheer on the Australians.

On the Coast to film his starring role in new big-budget blockbuster San Andreas, The Rock is an avowed rugby fan who played “Heaven’s Game” during his stint at school in New Zealand.

While he loves watching international matches in particular, the wrestler renowned for moves such as the Samoan drop, the running shoulderbreaker and the spinebuster, admitted he wasn’t cut out for rugby.
