In an amazing show of skill, strength and experience, Eckstein continued his dominance to take out Round 4 of the Nutri-Grain IronMan Series.

A repeat performance of a notorious Newcastle race, Eckstein and Matt Poole battled it out again in the surf with Shannon waiting for his moment to move ahead of the pack.
The Gold Coast sucked his thumb and held up two fingers on his way to the finish line, a tribute to his two children.
He made a similar gesture three years ago when his eldest child, Ellie was born.
