Parramatta Eels forward Danny Wicks has allegedly retired from the NRL just months after extending his contract.
News Corp reports the 30-year-old told his teammates of his decision as they returned to training on Monday.
The front rower, who played 32 games for the Eels, returned to the NRL in 2015 after he spent 18 months behind bars for drug trafficking.
