Parramatta Eels star Kenny Edwards has been charged with domestic violence.
The 27-year-old appeared in Parramatta Court this morning, with the case adjourned until a later date.
Eels CEO Bernie Gurr released a statement on Tuesday confirming the incident.

“Kenny was involved in an incident last weekend and has been charged with domestic violence,” the statement reads.
“The Club views this incident as extremely serious and immediately alerted the NRL Integrity Unit, as per our normal process.
“While the legal process is being handled by external authorities, Kenny will be able to continue to train and play as per the NRL Code of Conduct.
The Club said that they will continue to provide Kenny, his partner and children with all available welfare services.
