Eight hospitalised from four separate Gold Coast crashes

Gold Coast paramedics have been kept busy overnight, responding to four separate incidents on local roads.

Early this morning, crews were called out to Gaven, following report of a truck and car crash along the Smith Street off ramp.

It happened just after 5.30am, with one person suffering neck pain. They were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.


Meantime, a person remains in a serious condition in hospital this morning, following a single vehicle crash in Miami last night.

It happened along Riviera Road around 8.00pm.

Queensland Ambulance report the person had suspected abdominal injuries, and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.

Earlier last night, paramedics were called to a two car crash along Robina Town Centre Drive at 6.00pm.

Two elderly patients were taken to hospital in stable conditions.

While four people required hospitalisation after a two car crash in Nerang around 6.00pm as well. It happened along Yalkuri Drive and Beaudesert Nerang Road.

Three people were taken to the Uni hospital in stable conditions, while the fourth was taken to Pindara Hospital.
