Eight killed, more than 60 injured in horror blast at China kindergarten

Eight people have been killed and more than 60 injured in a horror explosion outside a kindergarten in China.

According to local media, the blast struck just outside the entrance to the kindy in the eastern town of Fengxian during pick-up time on Thursday.

Heartbreaking photos and videos posted to social media show young children and adults strewn across the ground.

While eight have been confirmed dead and 66 injured, it’s not yet known how many of those are children.

Chinese media say the bomber, a 22-year-old man, was killed in the blast.

His motive is unknown at this stage.
